The ultimate moment of friendship and sacrifice. There are a lot of moments like this in television and movies, but this one stands above all the rest. Sure it’s touching when Darth Vader takes off his helmet, but he also killed a bunch of little kids.

Spock’s sacrifice is deeper because Spock is truly innocent. The fact that he expresses his love for Kirk in his final moments, breaking from his Vulcan logic is truly heartbreaking.
