Will we get an autobiography of Captain Archer?

So far there have been autobiographies published of four of the previous captains from older Star Trek but none for Captain Archer.

The recent publication of The Autobiography of Benjamin Sisko is the fourth of the captains from the earlier Star Trek time period. But, so far, there has been no mention of the autobiography of Captain Jonathan Archer. There’s even been an autobiography of Spock published. So it’s understandable why one could ask if Archer is being considered in Titan’s lineup of Star Trek-related books.

If Titan is going in line, Archer should understandably be next, but then, even though Spock wasn’t a captain on Star Trek: The Original Series, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager, or Star Trek: Enterprise, he received his own book ahead of the other captains. So who’s to know if Archer is even being considered.

Captain Archer deserves so much more respect than what has been given to him

We all know that Enterprise didn’t get the ratings like the other shows did, and fans have been critical of everything from the series’ theme song to the decontamination routines aboard the ship. And I’m not denying there were valid concerns just as much as there were and have been with all shows.

No past or current Star Trek show is going to please everyone, but that doesn’t change the fact that Jonathan Archer was the captain of the Enterprise before Captain James T. Kirk, and he deserves to be acknowledged more than he has been.

I don’t know for certain if a book for Archer is already planned, but I had to question whether it would be coming simply because Archer (and the entire Enterprise series) is often overlooked, especially in the current line-up of Star Trek series.
