Dexter Fletcher has a long and successful acting career and has been involved in production since the late seventies. He has worked alongside some of the best actors in the business and has a big reputation as a reliable, dependable and versatile actor; all attributes needed by a Starfleet captain.

He was seriously good in the award winning Band of Brothers, showing yet another side of his brilliant acting. He does make several movies every year and whilst they might not all get the awards they deserve, they do show his reputation as a versatile actor is well deserved.

His first outing as a director recently hit the big screens, with Eddie the Eagle receiving a fairly good from the critics. He isn’t totally reserved to directing these days and is still scheduled for television and movie acting; maybe he would fancy a go in the captain’s chair, leading a ship into the unknown.
