I don’t actually remember a bad Tom Hanks movie. He is such a talented actor and his characters are always fantastic. He owns 2 Oscars, and will probably get more at the rate he makes epic movies, although he turned down the chance to star as Zefram Cochrane in Star Trek: First Contact because he was busy on another project. The studio approached Hanks as they knew he was a huge Trekkie and it would have been difficult for him to say no.

He has recently rekindled his interest in appearing in a Star Trek role and said he would like to play a “peaceful Romulan” in a movie one day. Simon Pegg put Tom’s Trek trivia to the test in this interview for British chat show, The Graham Norton Show.
