Leonard Nimoy – His Career Beyond Star Trek

Music Career

I honestly never knew that Nimoy had a career in music! But, apparently, he did have a colorful music career that spanned several years and built him a cult following. He released multiple albums that did very well. He built upon his earlier success in Star Trek and created the first album as Spock; Leonard Nimoy Presents Mr. Spock’s Music from Outer Space which was released in 1967. He created more albums and then a compilation in 1997 that even featured his lifelong friend, yes, you guessed it, William Shatner.

The music is not exactly my favorite genre, and I don’t think you can find it in the charts these days, but it certainly shows the versatility of Mr Spock.
