Have A Hobby

“All work and no play” says the old adage, and it’s right. When you work all the time and never stop to recharge you lose sight of things and wear yourself down. A leader like Captain Picard knows that in order to be the best they can be they have to allow themselves to have some rest and relaxation.

Maybe you can’t take that two week vacation right now, but you can take a few minutes everyday to enjoy something you love. It doesn’t matter if it’s playing the Ressikan flute, enjoying a hot cup of Earl Grey tea, or reading up on the latests archeological texts. Find something you love and find time for it each and every day.
