5 reasons Trekkies need to see Star Trek Beyond

New and fun tech to get excited about

I’m not talking about a new style phaser or a new communicator, I’m talking about brand new Trek tech. There aren’t just new alien gadgets in Star Trek Beyond either, there’s new Federation Tech to contend with.

I also really enjoyed that this movie had several moments where Trek style scientific speak was used. We all know that a regular scene in Star Trek was seeing the team come together and talk about tech to try to solve a problem, well Star Trek Beyond had this. It wasn’t just about Kirk dashing off and firing a phaser, there was thought and tech behind the actions of the crew.
