New Star Trek series to be named Star Trek Discovery

One of the reasons Star Trek fans are falling in love with Star Trek Beyond is that it is full of Trekkie easter eggs. Star Trek Beyond is respectful to and acknowledges the history of the Star Trek franchise and that’s made Trekkies incredibly happy.

Now Star Trek Discovery is already on the right track with Bryan Fuller at the helm and Nicholas Meyer in the writing room, but they should still be careful not to forget Star Trek’s past. There’s a saying that “no one hats Star Trek as much as Trekkies” and although we don’t agree with that we see where it’s coming from. Trekkie love Star Trek and have high standards for it, Star Trek Discovery  needs to keep that in mind.
