The Edosan
The Edosan or Edosians were first seen in
Star Trek: The Animated Series
. What made these aliens unique is that they had three legs instead of two. The reason why these aliens haven’t appeared on a live action
series before is obvious, it wouldn’t have looked good given the special effects abilities of the day. That’s not the case anymore though. An Edosian crewman appears in the fan film above in the last few moments, and although it’s a fan level production you can see how it could be done.
