When you look at this amazing set piece it can only bring up memories from probably the best Next Generation movie in Fist Contact. This is an amazing scene because it really gets across the futile nature of fighting with the Borg. We can see what looks like the last stand of a small group of Starfleet officer’s, surrounded by oncoming Borg who have adapted to their weaponry. There is no way out for this brave group who are looking most likely to become the next intake of Borg drone. Raymond Tan’s gallery is full of work like this, not content with just drawing ‘poster’ like compositions Raymond’s work always seems to have an element of action to them that looks like it could have come straight from a movie.
