Artist: Lorenz Hideyoshi Ruwwe

Artists Lorenz Hideyoshi Ruwwe (which I happen to think is one of the coolest names I have come across) is a digital conceptual artist that seems to specialize in landscapes of the most jaw dropping nature. The above art work was done as the artists himself confesses, by a none Star Trek fan who had not seen any of the rebooted movies prior to drawing this amazing interpretation of the USS Enterprise. All he did was check out a couple of images of the ship online. What I find amazing about this is that the Enterprise herself is simply drawn with nothing too complicated or detailed, but combined with the hanger or docking bay that surrounds it gives it its life and really makes you think that the artist had drawn this using a real life perspective.
