30 Reasons Why Captain Picard is Better than Captain Kirk

Picard has been on both Klingon Birds of Prey and the heavy cruisers and lived to tell the tale

Captain Kirk has lived through a lot. We’ll give him that. But he hasn’t been on a Klingon Bird of Prey and the heavy cruisers and live to tell the tales. It is just a simple fact. Kirk has been through a lot and survived them all but Picard survived Klingon war ships and that is not something to take lightly.

But, if we are making sure that we are being fair, Kirk does get into some close battles and, in the new movie universe, he does nearly die because of Khan. So they both have their moments when they are dear death or knocking on its door but survive it.

Basically, these two are just amazing men who can survive anything life throws at them. They are fighters and will do what they think is right and if that means somehow surviving situations where they should be dead, then so be it.

But still, Picard wins because he was on a Klingon Bird of Prey. Man should most definitely have died then but didn’t. So Captain Picard, congratulations. You’re an amazing man who has a backbone made of steel and you beat Captain Kirk yet again on the coolness scale.
