The Academy award winning actress Louise Fletcher has been performing since 1959. She is known to many as Nurse Ratchett in the classic drama movie
One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest
. But Trekkies will know her for one of her biggest television roles.
On Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Fletcher plays Kai Winn Adami, a Bajoran leader. She held this recurring role from 1993 to 1999. The talented actress has also won Emmys from her other roles on television.
