Chase Masterson is an actress, singer, and voice actress hailing from Colorado Springs, Colorado. She first breakout role in the television scene was as Ivy Lief on the soap opera General Hospital. But it would be after this when she had her biggest TV role, which was on, of course, a Star Trek TV series.
On Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Masterson plays the Bajoran Dabo girl Leeta. This would become a recurring role, as Masteron would play Leeta for five years. Over a decade later, she would reprise the role by providing the voice of Leeta for the computer game Star Trek Online. She’s certainly one of the favorite recurring characters for the fans of Deep Space Nine.
Masterson would go on to do other roles in feature films, TV shows, and video games. But her role as Leeta is likely her biggest claim to fame, as she is a regular at the science fiction conventions. In 2009, AOL called her one of the top 10 sexiest aliens on television, noting she’s regularly voted as the most popular guest at Star Trek conventions.
Needless to say, she’s popular with many Trekkies, and Leeta will always be a fond character for fans to remember.
