The Best Star Trek Actor From Each State

Actress Tracy Middendorf has been in many feature films and TV shows. This includes shows like Ally McBeal, Six Feet Under, 24, and Beverly Hills, 90210. And you’ll find her in movies like Mission Impossible III and Wes Craven’s New Nightmare. But as you can guess by now, she’s also made a mark in the Star Trek universe.
Middendorf appears in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode “For the Cause” as the half Bajoran Tora Ziyal. The Cardassian Garek takes a romantic interest in her, but fears she wants to kill him. Eventually he invites her to meet up with him alone, even if she does desire to do so. She would reveal that she doesn’t actually want him to die, but rather to learn more about Cardassia. It is then that they do actually begin a relationship.
More recently, Middendorf would snag a cozy featured role on a popular TV series. On the MTV show Scream, based on the movie of the same name, Middendorf plays Maggie Duvall. Her character’s secret past plays into the mystery behind the show and she’s one of its best characters. But some Deep Space Nine fans will always think of her as Ziyal.
