Do you love board games? Well Star Trek: The Next Generation’s Wil Wheaton does too. That’s why Wheaton gets together with nerdy friends and celebrities to play a new board game in each episode of TableTop. You can catch Tabletop on the Geek and Sundry YouTube channel.
TableTop is not only fun to watch, but lets you see the details of how a board game works before you purchase and play it yourself. This week Wheaton invites Matt Mercer, Nika Harper, and Kyle Newman to play Harbour. Harbour is a card collecting game with a unique economic game mechanic. It’s not often that you find a game that lets you magically change fish into wood.
Let’s see who becomes master of Harbour.
I’m so glad that TableTop is back on YouTube. Although I love the content from Nerdist and Geek and Sundry there’s really no way I’m going to pay for a subscription site to get it. Now we know that the episodes will eventually get released on YouTube that is better. However you have to think that this probably is affecting how many viewers each episode is getting. There really hasn’t been any promotion that I’ve seen for the releases of the new season on YouTube, besides the first two episodes that premiered months ago.
