Oh my, the Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow launch trailer includes appearances by George Takei, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Bill Nye, and Steven Hawking.
I loved Futurama because not only was it hilarious but it also was really fun science fiction. The fact that the series was continually poking fun at and making references to Star Trek didn’t hurt either of course.
Now there’s a new Futurama mobile game coming called Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow and the launch trailer for the game stars a great Star Trek alum. If the game captures the kind of pop science humor that’s in this trailer it’s going to be great.
Check out this trailer.

We don’t know a ton about the game yet, but it looks like it’s going to be a world builder style mobile game. You will be building your own New New York in the game. It won’t just be the world building though, the game looks like it’s going to include a lot of mini games as well. Of course you will also see all your favorite characters from Futurama. Hopefully the game is close to what Fallout Shelter managed to do and creates a world builder game that also include enough fun content outside of the format to keep it interesting.
You can preregister for the game now on Google Play and Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow will be released in app stores on June 29th.
