Thanks to IDW, we are proud to present a seven page preview of this week’s final issue of Star Trek: The Next Generation – Terra Incognita.

Last month saw the penultimate chapter of IDW‘s latest Star Trek comic book miniseries, Terra Incognita, hit the stands. The miniseries, which takes place during the fourth season of Star Trek: The Next Generation, is a follow up to Through the Mirror, which itself was a continuation of the events in 2017’s Mirror Broken.

The premise behind all these is that the concept of the Mirror Universe, first seen in the classic Original Series episode “Mirror, Mirror”, has been adapted to the setting of the Next Generation. Which, when you think about Star Trek and how many comics have come out since the show premiered, I’d say is long overdue.

With Terra Incognita, fans have enjoyed a miniseries where each issue is an individual tale, much like the television series, but with an underlying plot running through all six issues. It’s fairly obvious from all these miniseries that writers have long-range plans in place for their Mirror Universe story. The problem is going to be waiting for the next chapter to arrive in comic shops.

Written by Scott Tipton and David Tipton with artwork by Angel Hernandez, Terra Incognita No. 6 features the conclusion of the latest chapter IDW’s Next Generation Mirror Universe story. For now.

From the IDW solicitation:

"The latest installment of THE NEXT GENERATION Mirror Universe saga comes to a twisted conclusion as Mirror Barclay unleashes his fiendish plan on Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise-D! Takes place during Star Trek: The Next Generation’s critically acclaimed fourth season! Featuring covers by Mirror Broken co-creator and designer J.K. Woodward!"
