CBS has released eight brand spanking new images from “If Memory Serves” the highly anticipated eighth episode of Discovery Season 2.

It’s almost Thursday and for Trek Nation that means only one thing: a new episode of Star Trek: Discovery is almost upon us.

Last week “Light and Shadows” gave viewers the debut of Ethan Peck as Spock, but a Spock no one could really recognize. This version is broken and in desperate need of help. In addition, we got a glimpse of his and Michael Burnham’s fractured relationship and our first clues as to why Spock has never mentioned his human foster sister.

“Light and Shadows” ended with Burnham and Spock heading to a planet fans know very well and one that has been a part of Star Trek lore almost from day one, Talos IV.

As if fans needed any more reason to be excited for second season of Discovery to continue, CBS has released eight new images from the episode. They feature Spock interacting with Pike and the crew of Discovery as well as Stamets and Culber trying to deal with the resurrection of the latter and somehow reconnect.

It has to be said that watching new episodes of Discovery as they come out is fun and all, but I can’t wait until I can binge watch the entire season in one sitting.

Star Trek: Discovery Season 2 continues on Thursday at 8:30 PM on CBS All Access in the U.S. and will be released to the rest of the world on Netflix the following day.
