Who is Dahj from the Star Trek: Picard trailer?

Dahj is Shinzon’s daughter
As fans are aware, one of the key plot points of Star Trek: Nemesis was the arrival of Shinzon, a clone of Jean-Luc Picard who grew up on Remus, the sister world of Romulus. There he lived a hard, brutal life and resented Picard because he had the life Shinzon wanted.
Shinzon died trying to kill Picard and the crew of the Enterprise, and would have succeeded if not for Data’s heroic sacrifice.
So could Dahj be related to Shinzon in some way? Possibly a daughter that no one knew about?
It would go a long way towards explaining why she feels so safe around Picard. When you come right down to it, if she is Shinzon’s daughter that would make her practically Picard’s daughter as well. Plus it would help make clear why the Romulans are so interested in her.
And considering what Shinzon did to the Romulan Star Empire, it could be a reasonable explanation for the “She’s the end of all! She’s the destroyer!” comment seen in the trailer, if taken in a more abstract way.
However, while this theory does have some logic to it, the math doesn’t quite add up. Dahj would appear to be young, possibly no more than 20 or 21. If it has been almost 20 years since the events of Nemesis, as indicated in the trailer, she would have been a newborn when Shinzon attacked the Enterprise. It might be possible he didn’t even know she existed.
Muck like the Lal theory, this one is another long shot at turning out to be the truth but entirely possible given the evidence.
