Unbelievable!!!! gets premiere date of August 1, 2020
The long-awaited Star Trek parody, Unbelievable!!!! finally has a premiere date. Producer Angelique Fawcette announced that the online premiere screening of Unbelievable!!!!!, along with a live virtual convention, will be held on August 1. Angelique Fawcette revealed the premiere date as well as a digital convention for the film.
The parody film Unbelievable!!!!! follows four astronauts, who find out that alien plants are attempting to take over the world. The alien’s leader? Snoop Dogg. Can’t make this up. He stars alongside Michael Madsen, Nichelle Nichols, Garrett Wang, Tim Russ, and Chase Masterson. Save for Madsen and Dogg, the rest are Star Trek alumni.
Fellow Star Trek alumni in the film include Robert Picardo, Linda Park, Manu Intiraymi, Armin Shimerman, Vaughn Armstrong, Gary Graham, Anthony Montgomery, Marina Sirtis, Nana Visitor, Walter Koenig, Michael Dorn, Julie Warner, Dina Meyer, Olivia d’Abo, Jeffrey Combs, John Billingsley, Max Grodénchik, Casey Biggs, Gary Lockwood, Michael Forest, Jack Donner, Connor Trinneer, Dominic Keating, Brenda Bakke, Patti Yasutake, Steve Rankin, Michael Dante, Sean Kenney, BarBara Luna, Beverly Washburn, Celeste Yarnall, Bobby Clark, Jasmine Anthony, Menina Fortunato, McKenzie Westmore, Crystal Allen, and Christopher Doohan.
The movie will also bring back Star Trek: The Original Series composure Gerald Fried.
The film has been in production in some way shape or form since 2013. Edits, re-shoots and a whole lot of work turned the film into what it is now. It had a brief premiere in 2016 for the 50th anniversary of Star Trek, but the film was apparently not complete at the time.
The film will receive a premier in a live streaming event on Saturday, Aug 1, 2020, and will begin at 3 pm ET. The film will begin with a Q&A with the producers, as well as some of the cast, and can be watched on any internet browser. This won’t be free, however. You’ll need to pay $19.99 to get access to the premier event, as well as the post-screening actor panel.
That will cost extra, however.
