John C. Worsley, the Youtube video creator behind some great Star Trek Christmas hits, has delivered another video for this season

With a Youtube channel that has been celebrating Star Trek at Christmas since 2016, John C.  Worsley has created some of the most memorable holiday videos like Happy Trekmas and Wonderful Deep Space Nine. Now, he’s back this year with another enlightening and energetic video that is both hilarious and festive. I’m not so sure Captain Picard would see it that way, though. In fact, I’m pretty sure he’d be face-palming on this one. But that doesn’t mean we can’t love a unique take on All I want for Christmas with the good captain.

Worsley posted the video on December 23rd, and as of this writing, it has already amassed 44,000 views with over 3,000 thumbs-up. The three dislikes that have shown up so far are, according to Worsley, three Starfleet captains who are jealous of Q’s affections. Or one of them  could have possibly been Captain Picard himself.

These creative videos are undoubtedly time-consuming, but Star Trek fans now look forward to them as part of the holiday season. As one viewer said “one of the best things of the Christmas season.” This praise was followed by another announcement that Worsley had saved not only Christmas but 2020 with this video.

As I’ve mentioned before, Star Trek fans are some of the most talented in pop culture, and it’s amazing to see what they bring to the table when they put their imaginative minds to work. Only two weeks ago, I shared some other Yuletide videos, most of which were Worsley’s.

We hope Worsley will continue to amaze us each year with these festive videos and can only imagine what might come up next. And, not that we’re greedy or anything, but we certainly wouldn’t mind other holiday videos focusing on different holidays. Perhaps a Klingon opera to celebrate Valentine’s Day? The possibilities are endless.
