Captain Kirk always stays in the spotlight on Twitter, and this week, fans shared some pretty awesome tweets

Like any part of Star Trek, Captain Kirk will never grow old. In the minds of fans, he will always be an icon. True, he might not be everyone’s favorite captain, but there isn’t a Star Trek fan that wouldn’t recognize him the second he popped onto the screen. No matter what you thought about him as a captain, he commanded the Enterprise through some of the most extraordinary circumstances. And that’s just one reason why fans (and companies) continue to tweet about him.

To start, we have a quote from William Shatner who brought Captain Kirk to life for so many years. Shared by @IRBulletproof, the quote is a powerful reminder that regret is just a waste of time.

Here’s information you need to know. Original Memorabilia (@MemorabiliaCo) has some screen art from the Original Series which has been signed by Captain Kirk himself. That’s definitely something you want to add to your collection. If not, you should still go have a look at what’s available. The prints are really nice!

A gorgeous picture by @schiffybeast also offers something to ponder. Does anyone have the answer to this question?

For all the collectors, The Unboxers provided a look at a must-have figure of Admiral Kirk from the Wrath of Khan movie. Khan himself makes an appearance as well.

And finally, @davidcroberson shared some nearly picture-perfect pieces of art he’d drawn of both #kirk and #spock.  As gorgeous as these are, they deserve a lot more love and retweets!

And there you have it! One more week of Star Trek in the Twitterverse. Based on the popularity of these posts, I’ll be branching out to cover other characters beginning next week. I want everyone to have a chance to see what fans have shared about our favorite franchise!
