Don’t you just love to see how Star Trek fans have transformed their homes into an outward expression of their love for the franchise? I’ve previously shared a multi-million dollar mansion in Boca Raton that was built by Marc Bell as well as a fan’s bridge of the Enterprise that included a captain’s chair and a transporter pad.  Now, this home, owned by superfan Line Rainville from Canada, is another must-see design.

Rainville didn’t just redecorate or change a room in her home; she recreated the entire Enterprise from the Original Series in her basement so she’s only one step away from exploring the galaxy. Multiple rooms down below underwent Star Trek renovations that you have to see to believe.

A bedroom and a bathroom got the overhaul (with a spiffy ST logo on the shower wall!), and the walls look like you could be walking down the hallway of the original Enterprise. With a standing Spock  and Captain Kirk as well as a room made to look like Kirk’s quarters, this basement delivers on the nostalgia. It’s literally like living aboard the Enterprise.

Rainville has a Facebook page called Star Trek Fan’s Basement where you can see updates she’s making to her house. Back in 2017, her basement flooded, causing the need for renovations, but she hasn’t let that stop her from keeping up her dream home. Last year, she designed wall speakers seen in the hallways of the Enterprise, and she was considering creating the computers seen in the briefing room.

What an absolutely fantastic way to say how much you love Star Trek: The Original Series without actually saying a word. She let actions do all the talking for her. I can only imagine what it’s like stepping onto the Enterprise every time she goes into her basement. And I’ll admit, I’m a little jealous. How about you?
