I’m back this week with more of the best Star Trek (#startrek) tweets from the world of Twitter. While I try to focus on the tweets from fans, occasionally, an actor throws in one or two that I feel need to be shared. This week is one of those weeks as so much is happening in the world of Trek. It’s no wonder Twitter has been abuzz!

Robert Duncan McNeill (@robertdmcneill), who we all know as Lt. Tom Paris on Star Trek: Voyager, retweeted this amazing tweet from @PaulRogersSJMN who shared a picture with the description of Dr. Mohan. Dr. Mohan was inspired by Star Trek at nine years of age, and that inspiration led her to a Ph.D from MIT in aeronautics. And she is now the Mars 2020 Guidance, Navigation, & Control Operations Lead. What a wonderful story!

Meanwhile, @shelfnerds shared a picture of his current read in progress which is a Star Trek: The Next Generation novel. Excellent taste.

And Airspace from the National Air and Space Museum (@AirSpacePod) reminded Star Trek fans of the awesomeness of Nichelle Nichols and how she helped change the face of NASA by recruiting more diverse candidates.

@VulcanCounter is counting down the days until April 6, 2063 when the Vulcans first made contact with humans. And on February 26th, informed us that there are 15, 378 remaining.

And one more from Robert Duncan McNeill who put out a call for a Captain Proton Series and encouraged twitters to get it trending. After all, more adventures are required. @GarrettRWang offered input from Buster Kincaid who called Captain Proton the best holodeck simulation on Voyager. I think he might be a little bit biased, though.

And so we wrap another week of the best tweets for Star Trek in this writer’s opinion. Be sure to check out #startrek tweets if you’re on Twitter as there are many more great tweets that you need to see! Until next time!
