Paramount+ just debuted on March 4, 2021, offering up all of the Star Trek series, including The Original Series, The Animated Series, The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Enterprise, Voyager, Discovery, Picard, Short Treks, and Lower Decks and a few of the movies. Strange New Worlds and Prodigy will also make their way to the channel soon.

The streaming channel is available for $6.00 per month with ads or $10.00 a month without, but what if you want to try before you buy? If you’re only interested in Star Trek, odds are good you’ve already seen all of the older series. So maybe you’ve been on the fence about the newer ones which is certainly understandable considering the vast array of differing opinions about each series. You haven’t watched them yet, but there’s a part of you that is thinking you should take the chance.  After all, what if they’re really good, and you’re missing out?

Now, plenty of people will disagree with that question, but most of us are willing to give a series a try at least with one episode before we discount it. So whether you’re leaning toward picking up with Captain Picard’s adventures or thinking about having some laughs with the Lower Decks crew, Paramount+ is giving you the perfect opportunity.

The channel has made the season premieres of Star Trek: Picard, Star Trek: Discovery, and Star Trek: Lower Decks available to watch free of charge and with no commercial interruptions. There isn’t any indication if these premieres will be free permanently or if this is for a limited time only so I would suggest, if you’re interested, it’d be best to watch sooner rather than later. Who knows? You might find your next favorite Star Trek series.

Star Trek Prodigy: Series will debut on Paramount+ before Nickelodeon. dark. Next
