It’s time to check out the Star Trek hashtag again, and this has been another busy week for it! Along with the myriad celebrations of James Doohan’s birthday,  fans were excited to share more pictures, some great finds, and even a quick joke. So enjoy!

You have to see this picture of Captain Picard as Bob Ross! @deckslower shared this fantastic tweet on March 10th, and it’s bound to bring a smile to your face.

@theartingace shared a perfectly drawn image that brings the Star Trek/Star Wars fan battle to the forefront. Everyone has their opinion on which fandom is better, but as Mark Hamill has said previously, Star Wars is fantasy, and Star Trek is science fiction. So you can love both!

The discovery @shaozenSC made has me feeling a little bit jealous. A collector’s edition of Star Trek: IV The Voyage Home’s movie script! Okay, a lot jealous. What a find!

@ForeverAnEnsign (love the Twitter handle) shared a piece of trivia about the Vulcans that most of us probably never knew.

And @trekcore congratulated the Star Trek: Voyager documentary team for the incredible success of its fundraising campaign. If you’re a fan of Voyager, you should check out the Indiegogo campaign as there are some pretty amazing perks for contributors. You still have three weeks to contribute, but they are starting to sell out of some of the stuff.

And that finishes up this week’s #startrek tweets. As always, there were way more than I could choose. Perhaps I should change this to the top 10 Star Trek tweets. It’s nice to see so many fans so interactive when it comes to the franchise. I’ll be back next week with my next picks. In the meantime, I’ll consider whether or not to up the count!
