Back in 2013, Funko Pops released six figures from Star Trek: The Original Series. Included in that selection were included Kirk, Spock, Scotty, a Klingon, an Andorian, and an Orion Slave Girl. Fans never quite understood why Dr. McCoy, Lt. Uhura, Chekov, and Sulu were left out of the collection, and even though we never got an answer to that, now, Funko Pops is releasing a few more collectibles from the series that you’ll want.

While Dr. McCoy and Chekov from the Original Series are still left out of the collection, there are two Captain Kirks (one in his official captain’s chair and the Mirror Universe version) and two Spocks (one as the original Spock holding a cat instead of giving the Vulcan sign as the original figure did and the other as the Mirror Universe Vulcan). Also present in the Mirror Universe is Lt. Uhura and Lt. Sulu. (Sulu even has the scar shown in the episode!)

And finally, rounding out this set of eight figures is Khan Noonien Singh, who was portrayed by Ricardo Montalban, in the 1967 episode “Space Seed” and the continuing movie, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, and the Gorn, the green, slow-moving, reptilian alien Kirk fought in Arena in the first season.

All of the vinyl figures are 4.25 inches tall and available for pre-order now with each costing $10.99. And, with the exception of the Gorn, they’ll also be available to order at the usual places for such collectibles. According to Startrek.com, the Gorn will be available exclusively from Target. The anticipated release date for the figures is July 2021, but pre-ordering is wise to make sure you get yours with the first release. I wouldn’t be surprised if these sold-out on release day!
