For those of us who love Star Trek: Enterprise, we were disappointed there was no season five. We wanted to see where the future adventures of the crew would take them, especially since season four had really stepped up its game. Despite those who disapprove of the series, many fans, to this day, would like to see it return, or, at the very least, see a wrap-up movie that is way better than the series finale. And although it’s doubtful either will happen, there was a lot of planning underway for season five before the got axed. One fan took to Youtube to share what we could have seen had Star Trek: Enterprise season five been a reality.

The relationship between humans and Vulcans would have been “thoroughly explored,” but the major point for season five would have been the Earth/Romulan War and the establishment of the Neutral Zone. Jeffrey Combs would also have been added as a series regular, perhaps bringing more contention to the series as Command Shran would have had to work work with the Enterprise crew. That sets the stage for conflict as not everyone appreciated the Andorian.  The Enterprise would have also gone through a refit with the secondary hull matching future Enterprises.

While most of this is information we already knew, it’s interesting to see that the video, which was posted in October, has garnered over 150,000 views and a massive amount of comments, many of which are from fans who want the series to return, especially since it ended just as it was getting really good. And thanks to streaming, new fans are finding Enterprise every day. Still, we know it’s doubtful any of these season five ideas will ever come to fruition on Enterprise, but it would be certainly interesting to see some, especially the Earth/Romulan War unfold on the big screen. It’s clear that fans are still interested.

While Star Trek forges ahead with news series and new ideas, it’s interesting to see that some of the fans want Paramount to do a little looking back to find the next hit series.

Next. Enterprise: Season 4 ending wouldn't have changed with renewal. dark
