A new Star Trek auction is selling several unique items.

Did you ever want to own Jean-Luc Picard’s flute from Star Trek: The Next Generation episode, “The Inner Light“? Me neither, but if you are someone who liked that episode and wanted the flute, it could now be yours for a low-low price of about $80,000. I think I left my $100,000 bill in my other pocket.

Entertainment Memorabilia is hosting the online auction that starts June 29 and runs through July 1.

That flute isn’t the only thing you can own that was part of a Star Trek series. There’s a Deep Space Nine model of the original Enterprise, not specifically mentioned but it was more likely used in the Trials and Tribble-ations crossover episode. There are a few costume continuity scripts up for grabs, a couple of phasers, a bunch of costumes, several computer panels from inside various ships, series art, and even a frickin Tribble.

There’s something for everyone but better get ready to bust out the credit card, as the lowest bids (for action figures) are at $200 already. Not everything has been bid on yet, but it’s only a matter of time.

It may not be affordable for regular fans but still cool.

A lot of the prices on these items are huge. $200 for a rare action figure is pretty steep if you have a family of four to take care of. So this auction may not be the best place for the casual fan to go to drop some money.

Still, it’s worth at least looking at the auction page that has the Star Trek stuff to see what’s out there. It’s cool to see what has been preserved over the years. Like all of the cool outfits and insignias. There’s even a Reman costume from Star Trek: Nemesis.

So not everything is going to be in high demand.
