Just in time for Christmas in July, Hallmark introduces Mirror Spock ornament.

Star Trek: The Original Series as fans call it (aka just Star Trek) introduced many modern concepts to not just Star Trek but the world of sci-fi as a whole. One of the more popular ones was where the crew of the Enterprise goes to a different universe, where everything that was good is now evil and everything that was once evil is now good. It was called The Mirror Universe and introduced the Mirror Universe versions of James Kirk, Spock, and the rest of the U.S.S Enterprise.

Following in the trend of last year’s releases where Hallmark created a Mirror Universe version of James Kirk, Uhura and Sulu ornament, this year will see Spock added to the mix as well. On top of that, literally is also an Enterprise tree-topper, that when connected with all four ornaments creates a nifty story. All four ornaments can interact with one another, using lines from the episode, “Mirror, Mirror”.

Star Trek ornaments are a great keepsake for collectors

Among all the nifty things that you can buy and collect, maybe the best things are the Hallmark Star Trek ornaments, which date back decades. In the 90s Hallmark really found a nice vein when they started creating mini-Star Trek ship ornaments that you could hang on your tree.

The Enterprise, Romulans, and Klingons were just a few of the ships to get made and the ornaments were so popular they even had huge budgeted commercials made to advertise them. They even had Star Trek actors Patti Yasutake and Robert O’Reily return to play nurse Alyssa Ogawa and Gowran respectively.

Any collector of Trek memorabilia will want to hop in on the Mirror Spock ornament as soon as possible because it’s very likely that these won’t be available for long.
