LEGO Master makes Spock mural out of LEGO bricks

LEGOMaster builds Spock statue out of LEGO bricks.
Samuel Hatmaker is a LEGO Master, someone who is proficient in the art of LEGO building. He’s using his talents as part of a way to celebrate what would’ve been the 100th birthday of Gene Roddenberry. Hatmaker is making LEGO murals in conjunction with Roddenberry Entertainment and so far Collider, Star Trek.com, and now iO9 have all gotten an exclusive build. Collider got one of the famous James Kirk and Uhura kiss, while Star Trek.com got one featuring the Vulcan theory of IDIC (Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations). Now, iO9 is getting a Spock mural.
The mural is made up of mostly blue, black, white, yellow, and grey bricks, and features a colored silhouette of Spock and the Vulcan phrase, “Live Long and Prosper”.
This isn’t the first time that Hatmaker has done work for Star Trek either. He did an IDIC pendant in 2020 to celebrate Roddenberry’s 99th birthday, which may have been part of the inspiration for the year-long “Think Trek” celebration which has encouraged artists of all kinds to help celebrate Roddenberry’s ideas.
It’s ironic the most popular builds are out of LEGOs when Star Trek has no sets

It’s beyond ironic that these insanely creative scenes and moments are being depicted in LEGO form when of all the major entertainment brands the brick-building toy company has deals with, Star Trek is actually not one of them.
You’d think that wouldn’t be the case, considering that the Trek brand really does lend itself to originality and creativity; which could’ve produced some really interesting kits to build, or for fans to mix and match.
Yet, nada. In fact, the closest thing that Star Trek has is a German company that creates LEGO-like creations named BlueBrixx. They have several prototypes that are on the internet for people to view and will soon be taking orders for them if they haven’t already. Unfortunately, they appear to be a company that only ships within Germany, so anyone in the US or Canada may be out of luck. You can certainly try but expect disappointment if you go in hoping to purchase some.
Hopefully, with the return to toys in the form of Playmate action figures, the new line of Star Trek shows like Prodigy will cause a certain toy brick-building conglomerate to wake up and get things going in the proper direction.
