Want some Andorian Chardonnay or Cardassian Wine?

Partnering with Wines that Rock, Star Trek premiered its own selection of wines in 2019 with Chateau Picard Cru Bordeau, which is made at the actual Chateau Picard which is a multi-generational vineyard in the Bordeaux region of France. and United Federation of Planets Old Vine Zinfandel. It took another year for two more wines to become available—Klingon Bloodwine and United Federation of Planets Sauvignon Blanc. And like clockwork, Star Trek Wines is gearing up to release its next duo of wines in 2021.

According to Food and Wine, the two releases include a United Federation of Planets Special Reserve Andorian Blue Chardonay which retails at $50 per bottle and a Cardassian Kanar Red Wine which retails at $60 per bottle. And there’s something special about these bottles and the wine itself.

Inside the Andorian and Cardassian bottles of wines

The Andorian Blue Chardonnay isn’t just in a blue bottle. It’s blue itself, and to add a touch of collectability to it, the wine bottle has a “special United Federation of Planets metal medallion.” that will look perfect on your shelf. And the first 2161 bottles are hand numbered.

The Cardassian Kanar Red Wine Blend comes in a spiral bottle that Star Trek Wines says is “a unique serpent-shaped vessel originally utilized in the 1950s through the 1970s in Europe.” Only a few of the original bottles were found so the additional bottles needed were rendered in 3D in Southern Italy to create an exact replica.  Each shipment of Cardassian Kanar is individually numbered.

You can get a peek at the bottles by going to Star Trek Wines. The actual wines won’t start shipping until November, at their respective retail prices. If you’d like to purchase all six bottles of wine at one time, it’ll cost you $299 for what Star Trek Wines is calling “The Full Armada.”
