3 things we learned from the Resident Alien teaser for season 2

Resident Alien’s second season has a short teaser.

We’re a little late on this one, but the upcoming season of Resident Alien has us very excited. The teaser for the second season came out in October as part of a behind-the-scenes look at the series, which revealed a very obvious spoiler for season two.

Harry, the alien, returns home. That shouldn’t be surprising, the show is about an alien on Earth, no one would be angry that a tiny bit of information was revealed. We all knew it was going to happen.

It’s like Red Foreman said to his wife about a cop drama he was watching, “I know he solves the case, it’s the how that I want to see.” We know Harry returns to Earth, it’s what happens after that we want to see.

That said, the teaser did give us a few things to look forward to.

New romances for Harry and others

Alex Borstein is joining the cast for season two as a potential love interest for Harry the alien. Considering how his first two Earth romances went in season one, this is going to be an all-out blitz of hilarity. Borstein is a comedic genius and her addition will add some new flavors to the series. A few other cast members are also rumored to be getting new paramours in season two as well.

A new, potentially alien, threat

Harry’s not trying to blow up the planet anymore, but that doesn’t mean someone else isn’t. A new alien threat is hinted at for season two, and while it may be more of Harry’s kind or something completely different, it does seem to be setting up Harry as a reluctant hero of sorts.

Linda Hamilton returns

Sarah Connor herself returns to season two of Resident Alien to help track down the “evil” alien who’s living among us. You don’t bring Hamilton in for no reason so her involvement will surely be something to watch.
