Evan Evagora stars in Star Trek: Picard which is set to air on Paramount+ in February 2022

With Star Trek: Picard returning for season two in February 2022, the actors are revealing little about the upcoming plot. We know there are some time travel elements involved, and that John de Lancie is returning to the Star Trek universe as the conniving Q, an actor Evan Evagora, who plays the sword-wielding Elnor, calls “charming, as kind, and as funny as you think he is,” according to Trekmovie.

After Michelle Hurd, who plays Raffi, confirmed that Whoopi Goldberg would be appearing in the second season of Picard, reprising her role as the wise Guinan from Star Trek: The Next Generation, Evagora had nothing but complimentary things to say about the actress, especially her hugs.

"“I will say one thing… Whoopi is so kind and so lovely. I will say this, with masks and gloves on, all I did is want to hug her. She gives the best hugs.”"

Evan Evagora did resist revealing any spoilers for the season

As much as we enjoy a spoiler every now and then, especially when it comes to long-awaited seasons that are finally returning, Evagora didn’t quell our curiosity. The twenty-five-year old Australian actor kept the details light, only saying that he got to play with his sword again which he was really happy about.

"“I get to play with my sword again, which I was really happy about. And I really just want this season to air so we can all just talk about it and so you can enjoy it all. 2020 was a really tough year for everyone. Filming this year has had its challenges and its ups and its downs, but it was a pleasure as always.”"

By the time the second season of Picard airs in February, it will have been over two years since the series premiered in January 2020 which is an excellent reason for a rewatch. It’s easy to forget facts and small details that mean a lot after two years. The ten-episode first season is available to stream on Paramount+.
