The Twelve Days of Star Trek: a Sci-Fi Christmas Carol

By: Ryan’s Edits

Original: “Twelve Days of Christmas” by Frederic Austin, Andrew Carter

If the idea of being gifted 23 different birds for Christmas is a nightmare-filled nightmare, then maybe the Twelve Days of Star Trek: a Sci-Fi Christmas Carol will be more up your alley. Instead of trying to sell you on the idea of six geese laying eggs, this version gives you things you may actually like and want.

The original song was awful with gifts, with twelve drummers drumming, eleven pipers pipin, ten lords a-leaping, nine ladies dancing, eight maids a-milking, seven swans a-swimming, six geese a-laying, five gold rings, four calling birds, three french hens, two turtle doves, and a partridge in a pear tree.

This time around we get 12 replicators, 11 carbo bays, (warp)10 lizard babies, nine unimatrixies, eight accommodations, seven synthetic beings, six shuttlecrafts, five lights, four warp nacelles, three Cardassians, two engineers, and one Enterprise-D.

I much prefer this version of the song instead.
