Fans everywhere want Star Trek: Enterprise to return.

Fans of Star Trek: Enterprise will all tell you the same. The series ended too soon, especially since the fourth season changed things up. The show had found its footing then it gets cancelled which was vastly unfair to those of us who loved the show and were still invested in the characters, one of which was played by John Billingsley who is open to returning as Dr. Phlox. Trekculture feels the same about the sudden ending of the series and has presented a case for the return of the show and the characters, starting with unfinished business.

The video, narrated by Sean Ferrick, outlines the connection Star Trek: Discovery has made to the Enterprise, like Captain Archer’s name being revealed in a list of Starfleet decorated captains and the season four unveiling of the Archer Space Station.

There are many cases to be made for the return of Star Trek: Enterprise

Trekculture hits the nail on the head for the reasons why Enterprise could and should make a return to the franchise. Ferrick even tells CBS that the audience is there for the return and that now is the time and suggests including T’Pol and Captain Archer in the premiere season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds would be a great way to test to see if the fans would be invested in a return.

This is a well-done video and outlines why Enterprise should come back really well. But the main reason, overall, that we should see Captain Archer and his crew reunited aboard the Enterprise is because their stories were not finished. Their journey was not completed, and to add insult to injury, we got a rushed ending that was so awful every admits to hating it.

Yes, the characters are older now, but there are so many ways to work around the aging process that doesn’t even involve make-up, like a temporal causality which is how the USS Bozeman got stuck for ninety years. Enterprise has only been off the air for seventeen years so explaining the time lapse for this crew should be a piece of cake.
