Fan of Star Trek: Mission Chicago?

Are you a fan of conventions? Are you a fan of Star Trek? If so, Star Trek: Mission Chicago has some openings just for you! The convention, which is dubbed the “ultimate Star Trek fan experience” is looking for help for the 2022 version of the convention.

Now you can join up and help out at this year’s event. The first two are unpaid, it seems.

There’s a fan panel and programming opening, where you can pitch ideas for panels, and activities; both in-person and virtual.

If that’s not for you, you can set up a “fan table” to promote organizations for Star Trek fans to enjoy.

The lone paying gig is to officially join the Mission Chicago crew. You’d be in charge of running aspects of the convention, which may only mean changing trash cans and running to get water for the celebrities; but it’s paying.

You have until Feb. 20 to submit your applications for Fan Panels and Fan Club Tables. You’ll have to wait until March to hear back if you’re approved. If you signed up to work, you may have to wait anywhere from two to four weeks to hear back if you were approved.
