MeTV created the (maybe) hardest Star Trek quiz ever created.

MeTV created a dang hard Star Trek quiz (click the link to take the quiz) that you may want to check out and try. It’s asking you to decide if the name belongs to a character from Star Trek or a 1980s video game. Unless you watched Star Trek and/or lived through the video games of the early 80s, this quiz will not be the easiest thing you’ve ever done.

The quiz is not going to be something that newer fans or younger fans will do well with, full disclosure. A good number of characters are pretty obscure, and the games are from the arcade days, at least according to the MeTV article.

So if you weren’t a quarter-dropper in the days of malls and shoulder pads, you may not ace this test. I took it and only got 12 right. Frankly, the only two I knew were the first two.

The first two are easy, and then…yikes.

Admittedly, I’m not the most versed with the original series, so for me to struggle on the quiz isn’t that surprising.

The MeTV takes you through time on a nostalgic trip

I’m not so old that I remember arcades in the 1980s but I’m also not so young that I don’t remember arcades in general. They were a fantastic thing and a great time-waster. Sure, you could easily play all those games now at home for a 20th of the price, sure, but it wasn’t just about playing the games, it was about the experience you got to have with your friends.

Taking this quiz kind of takes you back in time a bit and hits you with that gnarly dose of nostalgia that everyone is trying to bottle and sell.

If you’re old enough to remember those types of arcade machines and have seen the original series enough to remember the more obscure character names, you’ll ace this test but hopefully, it brings back a little bit of nostalgia while you’re flying through the questions.

After all, finding ways to feel young is a key part of anyone’s day, no matter how old you are.
