Captain Benjamin Sisko has been missing from recent products

Finally, after an extremely long time, some attention is being turned toward Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. No, it’s not the return of any of the characters to one of the current Star Trek series, but at least it’s a slight pivot in the right direction. The 1:6-scale action figure company EXO-6 is starting a brand new line of Star Trek figures that focus on characters from Deep Space Nine, and it’s beginning with Captain Benjamin Sisko who was effortlessly portrayed by Avery Brooks.

According to Trekcore’s report of the news, there will be two separate versions of the Sisko figure. Both will be based upon the later screen versions of Avery Brooks’ character when the space station was in the heart of the Dominion War.

These figures are Captain Benjamin Sisko all the way

The standard figure will come with much more than just the figure itself. Also included is a minature baseball, a Type III Federation phaser rifle, a removable uniform jacket, a captain’s vest with a working-zipper undershirt, the essential Starfleet padd, a type II hand phaser, a tricorder, and, surprisingly, a glass of alcohol which Captain Sisko needed at the end of “In the Pale Moonlight.” This version of Sisko will retail for $215.

If you’d like to save a little money, you can order the essentials version of the figure which only inclues the baseball, the padd, the tricorder, and the Type II hand phaser. Though Sisko’s jacket won’t be removable, this is still a picture perfect duplication of Avery Brooks’ character and will retail for $180.

To learn more about these and other Star Trek figures and to pre-order any version of the Captain Sisko figure, visit EXO-6’s website. Both figures are available for pre-order with a non-refundable deposit of $20.00 which will go toward the full purchase price.
