7 best Will Riker episodes to celebrate Jonathan Frakes 70th birthday

To celebrate Jonathan Frakes, we’re highlighting seven of the best Star Trek: The Next Generation episodes featuring Will Wiker.
There are few people who have defined their entire life via Star Trek the way Jonathan Frakes has. He’s gone from the most popular character on the most popular show; Star Trek: The Next Generation, to a regular writer and director of the franchise.
He’s been, directed, or written an episode for every Star Trek series since his debut in the 1980s. Frankly, no one can say he’s touched, affected, and made better than many Star Trek series. He may not have the same presence as series creator Gene Roddenberry but Frakes understands the world of what Star Trek became after Roddenberry’s death better than anyone else.
To the point where many see him as Star Trek itself. So with Frakes having celebrated his 70th birthday on Aug. 19th., we’re taking the time to honor Frakes and seven of his best episodes. We’re only pulling from Will Riker moments (not Thomas Riker) and we’re only looking at episodes of the Next Generation he acted in specifically.
