The Enterprise is the most well-known starship in the Star Trek franchise.

Say the name “Enterprise,” and every Star Trek fan knows what you’re talking about. Okay, maybe not which one, but they definitely know it’s a starship that’s had several captains, and it is the ship that started it all. Its image is recognized around the world, and many fans own replicas of the ship, some larger than others. But there isn’t a replica as large as the one owned by Liu Dejian, who is the chairman of NetDragon Websoft, one of China’s most popular mobile Internet providers. In this case, the ship is more than just a collector’s item. It’s Dejian’s office, a $97 million, 853-foot building that took four years to build.

According to LuxuryLaunches.com, Dejian purchased the rights to build the office from CBS. At first, the network thought the request was a joke.  It was only after the relevant legal documents were sent that CBS realized it was a real request. And now, Dejian’s office is the only licensed Star Trek building in the world.

The office was inspired by the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-E.

The gigantic office includes a football field and four tennis courts which are surrounded by water. The workspaces are divided by automatic sliding gates and, 30-foot metal slides are what employees use to travel from floor to floor. If that isn’t enough, there’s a VR experience center, horseback riding, a swimming pool, and an artificial lake. In case the employees might get bored, there’s also a carousel. While you can see images of the office on Luxury Launches website, you can also see the vast expanse of the building by using Google Earth. (It really is amazing to see it that way!) Unsurprisingly, the office is named “Enterprise.”
