The holiday season is right around the corner so thankfully we have some Star Trek goodness for you to keep your eyes on for yourself or your loved ones.
Merchandise; the thing that separates your casual fans from your more diehard fanatics. Anyone can watch Star Trek, but a true fan will watch Star Trek while making sure every single one of their Star Trek action figures is properly dusted and adorning their wall.
Being able to collect is one of the best parts of being a Trek fan, or a fan of pop culture in general. Its something that can stimulate the mind, and give you a sense of wonder as you track down the items you think are missing from your collection.
They’re also great as gifts for kids too. Especially some of the items we’re going to be talking about now. Here are four items you should keep your eye on as the holiday season approaches.
Four Star Trek items you may want to keep an eye on
The Nerf Phasers – $119.99
(Pre-order now at Hasbro Pulse.com)
We’ve talked about this item before but now we have some more information about it. It’s being made to help celebrate the 35th anniversary of Star Trek: The Next Generation and will come with two items, the Starfleet Type 2 and Type 3 phasers. The Type 3 (the rifle) will also have light and sound effects with authentic movie sound. It will require four AA batteries and those aren’t included.
