Star Trek: Picard is saying goodbye with its last trailer.

The final trailer of Star Trek: Picard has arrived, and we now haev a good idea of not only the season’s plot but what will be involved in flushing it out. The season has been built around the final time the crew of the Next Generation will be together, but the plot is much grander than that. A conspiracy fo some sort is afood and the Federation is in trouble.

In the trailer Beverly Crusher warns Jean-Luc Picard to not trust anyone, while Worf gives context in a voice over of a pending weapon that may destroy (or harm) the Federation. With the show’s involvement with the Romulans and their increased involvement, could it be the last remannts of the Tal Shiar? We’re not sure, but the trailer does set up what appaers to be not only an adventure of epic proportions but also a reunion of all the main cast members one last time.

The trailer didn’t show us anything we didn’t already know about beyond that.

The final Star Trek: Picard trailer puts its best foot forward

The trailer has done a great job of getting the third season some much needed hype. The series hasn’t been the most well received in the franchise, and its three-season cancellation was welcomed by a good number of fans.

Yet, with how good the trailer looks, showrunner Terry Matalas may have figured out the best way to close out the storytelling of the franchise. Though, that’s just speculation on our part.

That said, this does look like a good trailer, and we’ll check out the first few episodes to see if it can actually hold our attention for the seaosn.
