Season 2 of InvestiGates with Gates McFadden arrives in February

InvestiGates: Who Do You Think You Are, the podcast hosted by Gates McFadden, returns for its second season in February.

The second season of the acclaimed podcast, InvestiGates, will premiere on February 23, according to Trekmovie. And if you loved the first season guests, you won’t be disappointed with those McFadden will talk to this season.

McFadden takes deep dives into the lives of her Star Trek friends and fellow actors, but she does so with an understanding grace that would put practically anyone at ease. So it’s no surprise to see this podcast returning for a second season. (I highly recommend the two-part episodes #106 and #107 with Nana Visitor.) The fifteen-episode first season stands out with some of the best conversations with McFadden’s close personal friends from her Star Trek: The Next Generation days, Jonathan Frakes, LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Marina Sirtis, Brent Spiner, and Wil Wheaton.

Gates McFadden will have some surprise guests this season as well as some new and longtime friends.

In a statement by McFadden, she gave listeners a sneak peek at what to expect beginning February 23.

"“Just like the camping song I sang as a kid—season 2 is silver and gold—I’m making new friends, but honoring some longtime ones as well. Old friends from Voyager, Enterprise, and the original Star Trek. And new friends from Discovery, Lower Decks, and Strange New Worlds.”"

You can look for interviews with legacy characters from classic Star Trek to actors from the newer Star Trek series. Some of the actors lined up are William Shatner, Kate Mulgrew, Anson Mount, Tawny Newsome, Jack Quaid, and John Billingsley. And Nacelle founder and CEO Brian Volk-Weiss, who produces the podcast, promises surprise guests as well.
