Star Trek: The Next Generation fans will want to take a look at these new items before Star Trek: Picard airs its final season.

One of the best things about being a Star trek fan, and I say this a lot, is the stuff that goes on sale for fans to purchase. There’s so much merchandise that you can get your hands on from so many different eras and series of the show, that it makes being a fan a lot more enjoyable. And a lot more expensive. There’s so much out there, you can really say there’s something for everyone.

From the original Star Trek series all the way through Strange New Worlds and Prodigy. There’s always something to check out. Especially if you’re a fan of the Next Generation.

And since a lot of people are fans of that show, it is among the series’ best and most popular shows and it was part of the reason, Paramount execs decided to launch Picard to capitalize on the nostalgia of the Next Generation. That hit of nostalgia is what companies want because fans are constantly trying to relieve the past for even just a few seconds. This desire for the past allows many companies to produce things that tickle that itch for fans to check out. Whether it’s shows, fan movies, or even unique items for fans to acquire.

So we’re looking at three unique items that fans of Picard or The Next Generation will want to get their hands on.

Three items Star Trek fans might want to purchase

USS Enterprise-D Builders return via Fanhome

(Fanhome)

Fans were shaken when Eaglemoss, a model manufacturer, went out of business. Some Trek fans had subscriptions with Eaglemoss for a variety of items, most notably their Enterprise-D model kits. Each month a new part of the kit would arrive and fans could build it in steps. Then Eaglemoss went out of business without anyone getting their completed model. Well now Fanhome has taken over the project and will not only be allowing new fans to sign up to start their own collection but old fans from the Eaglemoss days can continue on right where they left off;

Via Star Trek.com

"Complete your collection with Fanhome. The U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D model is identical to the one launched in 2021, produced by the same manufacturer. The model, made from die-cast metal, measures over 27.5” (70 cm) long, 8” wide, and 5.7” tall. Working features include illuminated windows, light-up engines, illuminated deflector dish, and detachable saucer section.…With Fanhome, you can build your very own U.S.S. Enterprise-D by starting from the very first assembly stage or by continuing where you left off. That’s right — builders will be able to resume with any issue they want!"

(Factory Entertainment)

Fans of the Next Generation will want to take a look at this. Factory Entertainment has introduced a prop replica phaser, designed after the heftier-looking phasers, aka the “dust buster” phasers. These are the iconic phasers that the franchise used for over a decade and are among the most iconic in existence. If you’re a fan of classic Trek like The Next Generation, you’d be wise to get this item.

The Next Generation Type-1 Cricket Phaser Limited Edition Prop Replica Season One Version

(Factory Entertainment)

If you’re looking for a less-seen version of the phaser, how about the Cricket Phaser that popped up in the first season of the Next Generation? The same company that made the above version is making this one as well. While the Type-2 is on preorder, the Type-1 is ready to be shipped now. It’s smaller and comes in a nifty little wood and glass case for you to display. It’s also a bit cheaper too.
