Star Trek fans may be able to start collecting model ships sooner rather than later.

Star Trek fans were very impressed with the Hero Collector Star Trek ship models. The brand released a whole host of interesting and impressively designed ships for fans to collect. Trek fans all over love the high-quality craftsmanship, but over time the company that distributed them, Eaglemoss, ended up dealing with some financial issues, causing fans to wonder if they’d ever be able to get model ships again.

Well, Heathside Trading ltd. has agreed to a deal with Paramount Global Consumer Products, to become the authorized distributor of the Hero Collector’s Star Trek ships. They’ll be purchasable on MasterReplicas.com, a site that isn’t officially live yet, until 2 PM ET on Sunday.

Fans of the former Eaglemoss ships should keep an eye on the website, as supplies for the remaining Eaglemoss stock are limited.

What Star Trek ships will be available upon the re-launch?

The relaunch of the line of ships will include 25 ship models, and each one will only be available for two weeks or until supplies last. Whichever comes first. It’s not entirely sure what ships will be available, but more than likely it’ll be whatever remaining stock was left when Eaglemoss shuttered its doors.

According to TrekMovie.com, the belief is that there every ship will have at least some stock left to sell. Maybe not every last one, but more than most.

It’ll be interesting to see if there are new ships added over time and what the long-term look of the Master Replicas line of ships will ultimately look like.

For Eaglemoss fans who were collecting the Enterprise-D build, where a new piece would be shipped to your house every month, De Agostini Collectibles announced in January that they took over that line of collectibles. So if you’re still building your Enterprise-D, you can head over to their website to finish that up.
