Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is getting ready to drop a new season.

Star Trek is gearing up for another new season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds set to drop later this year. The show will bring back most of its cast, and while some characters may not be back, like Hemmer, there are still roles being discussed to bring back actors like Bruce Horak.

So it does seem like the whole gang is coming back, and Star Trek’s Twitter account is getting people hyped for the return of the show in the best way they know how; stylized photos of the crew.

The very vibrant and colorful crop of photos released by Star Trek seems to depict the characters in an almost 60s/70s style. Relying on the vibrancy of the colors to pair with one another, while forming a strong outline around the characters themselves.

The feel of it is very much an idea out of time, and yet somehow fits remarkably well with what Strange New Worlds is and aims to be. It’s bright, hopeful, and optimistic, just like these incredible photo edits.

When does Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season two debut?

Fans of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds don’t have to wait too much longer for the hotly anticipated second season. The show is set to return around the start of summer in the United States, on June 15, 2023.

The second season will resolve the season-one cliffhanger involving Una Chine Riley’s arrest, as well as the hotly anticipated crossover episode with the animated show, Lower Decks. There’s also the chance that Spock’s brother Sybock makes his debut on the show after being hinted at last season.

The show has been greenlit for a third season as well, with filming and production on that show that will start on May 2, 2023.
