Could Star Trek: Prodigy actually serve as a Star Trek: Voyager reunion?

Could Star Trek: Voyager’s rumored reunion actually just be the treatment for season two of Star Trek: Prodigy?
Star Trek: Voyager is rumored to be on its way back to the world of Star Trek. Online rumors claim that a Voyager revival series is in the works, which would see Kate Mulgrew join that show, as well as her current show Star Trek: Prodigy. But is that rumor actually true? Until we know for sure, there’s no way we can for sure, but one fan on Twitter had us step back and ask if this rumor is legitimate, or if is this a case of wires getting crossed.
As seen below, Twitter user Pax believes that the Voyager reunion will actually be some sort of reunion on Prodigy, or at least a partial one. It’s unclear if there’s any legitimacy to the original rumor, or if there wasn’t some sort of alteration due to a game of telephone.
Maybe a Voyager reunion on Prodigy was the original idea after all. If it is, it makes a lot more sense then to invest money into yet another nostalgia project.
Five of the core cast members of Star Trek: Voyager has already returned
So far, five of the Voyager cast members have already returned to Trek during the Nu Trek Era. Kate Mulgrew (Kathryn Janeway) and Robert Beltran (Chakotay) have already returned with Prodity, while Jeri Ryan (Seven of Nine) and Tim Russ (Tuvok) returned with Picard. Robert Duncan McNeill also returned but with Lower Decks.
That leaves Ethan Phillips (Neelix), Garrett Wang (Harry Kim), and Robert Picardo (The Doctor) as the last remaining cast members to not return. Considering how the others have all popped up across the universe, it would make tons of sense to consolidate all of the returning cast members on one show, and one that’s already airing; Prodigy.
