Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ second season launches in June.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ second season will be launching in a little over two weeks on June 15, 2023. It’s one of the most hotly anticipated shows going not only within Star Trek, or on Paramount+ but all streaming shows this summer. The first season was a rousing success, helping elevate the franchise to new heights. It was one of the most streamed shows in the world and was among the best new shows of 2022.
Now, following the success of their first season, Prodigy’s first season, and Picard’s final season, the Anson Mount-led franchise will see if they can continue the upward trend of success that the franchise has been seeing as of late.
The only holdup for fans is the fact that Strange New Worlds airs exclusively on Paramount+, and people are kind of over subscribing to streaming services. So if you’ve never seen the show before, you may be hesitant to sign up for Paramount+. But what if there was a way you could watch every episode from the first season for free?
Well, you can do just that as the Paramount+ YouTube channel has every episode from the first season of Strange New Worlds up on their account to watch, for free, just with limited commercial interruption.
Giving Star Trek: Strange New Worlds away for free is a cunning idea
There are a lot more people in this world who have not seen Star Trek: Strange New Worlds than have. Giving away the show’s first season for free, in a chance to land new viewers is a cunning idea. It may not work. After all, sci-fi is arguably the hardest genre to market to the masses, but if one show can benefit from the most eyes possible seeing it, it’s Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
It’s among the best shows the franchise has ever done and it’s the flagbearer for the franchise going forward. Paramount+ needs to have strong figures for its second season, and that means doing whatever it can to entice new subscribers to come aboard.
Even if it means giving away media for free.
